The Hyundai Ioniq 6 N has been receiving global attention since its public debut last month.


Automotive media outlets not only in North America and Europe, but also in China and Latin America, have expressed high expectations and praise for Hyundai's upcoming high-performance electrified sedan.


According to Hyundai Motor Company on August 11, the leading American automotive magazine MotorTrend recently published an article titled "A Super Sedan with Wings: Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Unveiled!" The article stated, "The unveiling of the Ioniq 6 N demonstrates just how rapidly Hyundai N has evolved in the ten years since its launch."

The debut of the Ioniq 6 N also drew significant attention in Europe. The UK-based automotive media outlet Auto Express published an article titled "Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Unveiled: High Performance to Surpass the BMW M3," stating, "The Ioniq 6 N is the successor to the Ioniq 5 N, which set a new benchmark for high-performance electric vehicles recognized by numerous automotive experts." Germany's three major automotive magazines, Auto Zeitung and Auto Bild, also expressed positive opinions about the Ioniq 6 N. Auto Zeitung analyzed that "the Ioniq 6 N, with its sedan form factor, offers favorable conditions as a sports car." Auto Bild highlighted its specialized features, stating, "If you seek a sporty feel in an electric vehicle, the Ioniq 6 N is the answer," and added, "Above all, the chassis, virtual driving sound function, and virtual shift control function are highly anticipated."


Chinese media outlets also gave significant coverage to the unveiling of the Ioniq 6 N. Autohome, China's largest automotive portal site with over 20,000 automotive content creators providing extensive news, reviews, and content, introduced the main features of the Ioniq 6 N through a video presentation.


In a video titled "Enhanced Driving Fun: Exploring the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N!", a professional racer appeared as the commentator to analyze the performance and features of the Ioniq 6 N, praising it as "a vehicle that excels not only in performance but also in driving enjoyment."


Dongchedi, a leading Chinese automotive portal site, covered the Goodwood Festival of Speed on-site and provided a detailed introduction to the Ioniq 6 N's suspension and electrified powertrain features.


In a coverage video posted on Bilibili, China's largest video platform, Dongchedi emphasized the Ioniq 6 N's power performance and summarized that its core appeal lies in "driving enjoyment," stating, "The suspension and chassis have been upgraded, and both virtual driving sound and virtual shift control functions have been implemented."

News about the high-performance electric Ioniq 6 N was also widely reported in Latin America, including Mexico and Brazil, as well as in Australia.


Mexico's prominent automotive media outlet Autocosmos highly praised the vehicle, stating, "Hyundai has made a major leap in the high-performance electric vehicle sector. The Ioniq 6 N sets a new standard for what it means to have fun behind the wheel without using gasoline." Brazil's automotive media Quatro Rodas published an article noting, "The Hyundai Ioniq 6 N delivers up to 650 horsepower, accelerating like a supercar."


Australia's automotive media CarExpert provided detailed coverage of the Ioniq 6 N's various electrification technologies, as well as predictions about when it might be available in the Australian market, catering to readers with a strong interest in high-performance electric vehicles by highlighting its performance and key specifications.


The Ioniq 6 N has also received praise from influencers. Engineering Explained, a renowned American automotive influencer with 4.1 million subscribers, drew attention by posting a video in which he highly praised the driving performance of the Ioniq 6 N after personally experiencing it at a pre-test drive event held at the Namyang Research Center in June.


He stated, "Finally, a true rival to the Tesla Model 3 Performance has emerged," and added, "With the launch of the Ioniq 6 N, the landscape of high-performance electric vehicles has changed. After actually driving the Ioniq 6 N, I found its performance to be truly astonishing."


The Ioniq 6 N is the second electrified model from Hyundai N. With N Green Boost mode, it delivers a maximum output of 650 horsepower, and when using N Launch Control, it can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, demonstrating its powerful dynamic performance.
