Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Konan Technology will assist the National Health Insurance Service in creating smart meeting minutes using its latest AI technology.
On August 11, Konan Technology announced that it has finalized the delivery of its new speech-to-text (STT) solution, 'Konan STT', which incorporates the latest generative AI technology, to the National Health Insurance Service. Konan STT will support the meeting minutes creation process in the smart meeting rooms of the health insurance cloud standard platform.
Building on this delivery, Konan Technology plans to expand the adoption of generative AI speech recognition solutions to public institutions and various industries, thereby contributing to the activation of the AI ecosystem. Konan STT has already been recognized for its excellence through implementation by various clients. Currently, it is in use at the call center of the National Police Agency’s Telecommunications Financial Fraud Response Center, where it is being operated as a voice phishing scam civil complaint service. At the Incheon Airport customs inspection area, the AI simultaneous interpretation system 'Konan Chatbot Plus' is being piloted and tested on-site.
Konan STT is expanding its application scope to include call centers, simultaneous interpretation, and meeting minutes creation. On August 5, the company participated in the 'APEC 2025 Korea Global Digital·AI Forum' held in Songdo, where it showcased Konan Chatbot Plus and an advanced multilingual AI meeting interpretation system.
