On Monday, August 11, the weather across the country is expected to be mostly cloudy, with rain mainly in the southern regions.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on August 10, rain is expected on August 11 in the northern part of Jeonbuk and in the southern regions, excluding the central and northern parts of Gyeongbuk. Some areas of Jeju Island will also experience rain. In addition, showers are expected from the afternoon into the night in inland Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, mountainous areas of Gangwon, and inland regions of Chungcheong.

The rain in Jeonnam, Gyeongnam, and Jeju is expected to continue until August 12. The forecasted precipitation amounts are as follows: Jeonnam coastal areas 20 to 80 mm, Gwangju and inland Jeonnam 10 to 60 mm, southern Jeonbuk 5 to 40 mm. Busan and the southern coast of Gyeongnam 20 to 80 mm, Ulsan and inland Gyeongnam 10 to 60 mm, Daegu and southern Gyeongbuk 5 to 40 mm, and Jeju 20 to 80 mm. For areas expecting showers, such as inland Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, inland Chungnam, and Chungbuk, the expected precipitation is about 5 to 40 mm.
The morning low temperatures are forecast to be between 19 and 25 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius. In areas experiencing rain or showers, temperatures may temporarily drop, but in most regions, the maximum perceived temperature is expected to rise above 31 degrees Celsius for the time being.
