Increase in Woori WON Mobile Subscriptions and Credit Card Issuance
Overseas Stock Trading to Launch in the Second Half of the Year
Core Insurance Services to Be Integrated Next Year
Woori Financial Group announced that its group universal banking service, launched in November last year, has surpassed 1 million members just six months after its release.
Universal banking is a service embedded in Woori Financial Group's mobile application, 'Woori WON Banking', which allows users to access a wide range of financial services offered by Woori Financial Group?including banking, securities, credit cards, capital, and savings banks?without the need to install separate apps.
Woori Financial Group is gradually expanding this service. In April, it launched the 'Woori WON Mobile' service, an affordable mobile phone brand by Woori Bank. In June, the group introduced 'Woori WON MTS', a mobile trading system by Woori Investment & Securities, thereby officially offering domestic stock trading services with AI-based stock recommendations. The group plans to further expand the service scope by adding overseas stock trading in December. Next year, it aims to integrate the core services of Tongyang Life Insurance and ABL Life Insurance, which have newly joined Woori Financial Group.
