Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Cho Kwangdeok) announced on August 8 that it has been operating the '2026 College Entrance Exam Early Admission 1:1 Strategy Consulting' for examinees at the Jeong Yak-yong Library since the 1st.

This consulting program was established to support students in developing strategies tailored to their academic achievements and desired career paths as they prepare for the full-scale early admission process. The purpose is to help students design personalized early admission strategies through in-depth consultations with experts.
The consulting sessions are held over a total of four days?on the 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th?with 8 to 12 professional admissions consultants participating each day to provide one-on-one in-person counseling.
A total of 126 students participated in the first two sessions, and the city plans to support a total of 228 examinees by the 9th.
The counseling provides customized guidance not only for general examinees but also for those applying through arts and physical education tracks and for students from underprivileged educational backgrounds. Based on school grades, mock exam scores, and student records, the program offers comprehensive guidance including recommendations for target universities and departments, analysis of admissions criteria, and interview preparation strategies, resulting in high satisfaction among both students and parents.
One examinee who participated in the consulting shared, "They suggested a better direction than I expected, so now I know exactly what I need to study going forward, and I feel more motivated. I was worried about applying for early admission, but it was very helpful."
The city also plans to offer 'AI Interview Question Consulting' in September, 'Second Half Career and College Consulting' in November, and 'Regular Admission Consulting' in December.
