On August 7, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced the launch of the "By Your Side, Us" project, which provides emotional support and gifts to children living in protective facilities so that they do not feel left out on special occasions such as birthdays, Children's Day, and Christmas.
"By Your Side, Us" is a commemorative day support project for children that began in 2022 through donations from the Hope Bridge Honors Club, a network of major donors. Starting in 2025, the project has been expanded into an integrated support model for child protection institutions, providing customized support such as commemorative day programs, emotional support, and leisure activities.
In April, Mark, a member of the boy group NCT and a member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club, donated 100 million won, leading to the expansion of support projects for children under protection. Hope Bridge
In particular, in April of this year, Mark, a member of the boy group NCT and a member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club, donated 100 million won, which led to the expansion of the project and enabled more children to receive support. This donation was made as a gesture of gratitude for the tremendous love he received from fans following the release of his solo album.
Through this project, children receive tailored programs such as birthday parties and outings, summer vacation cultural experiences, graduation parties and ski camps, three-day trips to Jeju Island, as well as summer camps and small-group winter trips.
Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, stated, "The experience of having an adult who remembers a child's special day becomes a precious source of self-esteem and belonging," and added, "Together with Honors Club donors, we will do our best to ensure that even more children can receive the gift of a warm and memorable day."
