Yangju City: Ten Social Enterprises Receive Excellent SVI Grades, Recognized for Community Contribution

Ten social enterprises in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, received 'Excellent' and 'Outstanding' grades in the 2025 Social Value Index (SVI) assessment project conducted by the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

In this evaluation, Raonatti Co., Ltd. and Jisim Social Cooperative achieved the 'Outstanding' grade, while eight companies?Top Lighting Co., Ltd., Gamdong CLEAN Cooperative, Todoplay Co., Ltd., Withplus Co., Ltd., Yangju Care Center Co., Ltd., Complete Co., Ltd., Gootz Co., Ltd., and Welfare Union Co., Ltd.?received the 'Excellent' grade.


Yangju City operates an annual program that supports social value index measurement and customized consulting for local social economy enterprises. This program is designed to objectively assess the social value created by social enterprises using both quantitative and qualitative indicators, and to help them establish sustainable management strategies.


The Social Value Index (SVI) is an official assessment tool introduced by the Ministry of Employment and Labor that comprehensively evaluates various criteria, including fulfillment of social objectives, creation of social outcomes, innovativeness, and democratic organizational management.


In particular, Raonatti Co., Ltd., which received the 'Outstanding' grade, was recognized for contributing to solving elderly care issues through the operation of a senior day care facility. Jisim Social Cooperative was evaluated as an exemplary case in the fields of education, training, and vocational rehabilitation for people with disabilities.


An official from Yangju City stated, "The results of this SVI assessment indicate that social enterprises in Yangju are faithfully contributing not only to economic value but also to social responsibility," adding, "We will continue to provide administrative support so that social economy enterprises that coexist with the local community can achieve sustainable growth."
