Landscape Lighting "ECLAT LUMIONE" Spreads from the Central Plaza
Distinctive Themes Applied to Each of the 10 Residential Buildings for Differentiation
Samsung C&T combined “ECLAT,” meaning “to shine” in French, with the newly proposed complex name “Raemian Lumione,” to create the design name “ECLAT LUMIONE” for Gaepo Woosung 7th.
The specialized landscape lighting, “ECLAT LUMIONE,” is designed around the central plaza of the complex, considering the flow of light spreading across the 10 residential buildings. It incorporates themes that harmonize with the surrounding environment, and consists of a total of eight concepts. The specialized lighting design is being used as a strategy to maximize the premium image of the complex.
The highlight of the specialized lighting is the “RISING LUMI STREAM,” which represents a flow of light soaring towards the sky. The light flows along the facade of the main residential building at the center of the complex, creating a landscape that appears to connect with the ridgeline of Daemosan Mountain.
At the topmost section, there is the “DUO SKY LIGHT.” This specialized lighting, unfolding above the sky community, is expected to enhance the presence of the complex by harmonizing the city’s nightscape with light and shadow.
The perimeter lighting, “OMNI LIGHTING,” gives the impression of softly and clearly outlining the entire complex. Lighting is also emphasized at the four entrance gates installed in the east, west, south, and north directions, so residents can feel a sense of pride as they pass through the complex.
Specialized lighting such as the “SHINING COURTYARD,” which gently spreads under the trees, and the “SHINING DOME,” which brightly illuminates the atrium ceiling, will create a luminous private garden at night.
In addition, considering the layout and facade of the complex, various specialized lighting features such as “CREST LUMI LINE,” “NOBLESS UPLIGHT,” and “SHINING LIGHTING BOX” have been applied, so that each of the 10 buildings can have its own unique character and symbolism.
Kim Myungseok, Head of the Housing Business Division (Vice President) at Samsung C&T, said, “We intend to set a new milestone in Gaepo by further enhancing the value of the complex through specialized landscape features for Raemian, which boasts overwhelming brand power. We plan to create a premium residential environment where residents can feel a sense of uniqueness every day.”
Gaepo Woosung 7th Complex was completed in December 1987 and currently consists of 15 buildings with a maximum of 14 floors and 802 households. After reconstruction, it will be transformed into a complex with up to 35 floors and 1,122 households. Samsung C&T and Daewoo E&C are competing for the reconstruction contract, and the general meeting to select the contractor will be held on the 23rd.
