The Salvation Army Korea Territory (Commander Kim Byungyun) announced on August 4 that it held the "Fissler Cooking Challenge Donation Ceremony" together with Fissler Korea to support meal programs for undernourished children.
The donated funds will be used to provide healthy meals to children at risk of malnutrition in Dream Start programs and child welfare facilities. These children face risks due to economic hardship and lack of care.
Since 2021, Fissler Korea has been raising donations through its "Cooking Challenge" and, together with the Salvation Army, has continued to support undernourished children for five consecutive years. In 2024, food items and snacks were delivered to approximately 1,000 children.
Lee Kyungu, CEO of Fissler Korea, stated, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility to ensure that meal support for children's futures remains consistent."
Kim Byungyun, Commander of the Salvation Army, said, "Malnutrition is not simply a matter of poverty, but a structural issue in society. Real change is possible when companies and local communities join forces. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Fissler and all the challengers who have consistently participated with us over the past five years."
