Application of Dual Power Safety Facilities and Eco-Friendly Lighting
Setting a Model Example for Electrical Safety
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC, CEO Shin Changho) announced on August 4 that the ongoing Western Busan Administrative Complex Town project has received a preliminary certification for 'Grade 1 Electric Safety (Building)'.
The 'Electric Safety (Building) Certification' is a system granted by the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, which comprehensively evaluates the safety and reliability of electrical installations. The preliminary certification is awarded to buildings where electrical safety plans are thoroughly incorporated from the design stage.
The Western Busan Administrative Complex Town is designed to receive dual power lines from Korea Electric Power Corporation, and is equipped with a backup transformer to provide double-layered safety facilities in preparation for electrical accidents. In addition, eco-friendly and high-efficiency LED lighting has been applied to enhance user convenience and reduce maintenance costs.
Busan Metropolitan Corporation has already obtained the main certification for Kumho Central Bay Happy Housing Ilgwang, The Park Igidae Happy Housing, Happy Housing in front of City Hall (Complexes 1 and 2), and Eco Delta City Public Sale Housing (Blocks 18, 19, and 20). The corporation plans to pursue main certification for the Western Busan Administrative Complex Town and the Ilgwang District 4BL Integrated Public Rental Housing in the future.
Shin Changho, CEO, stated, "We will do our utmost to ensure that residents can live safely and conveniently, free from electrical hazards, by improving electric quality and strengthening safety standards."
