Dalseo District in Daegu (District Mayor Lee Taehun) held the '3rd Dalseo District Alley-Type Shopping District Review Committee' on July 31 and newly designated three locations: the commercial area of Daegokgangsan Town Apartments, the area around 26 Wolbae-ro, Jincheon-dong, and the commercial area around Hwaseong Park Dream Apartments in Sangin-dong.
The total number of alley-type shopping districts in Dalseo District, Daegu, has expanded to six, establishing it as the most active basic local government in Daegu this year in terms of new designations.
With the designation of alley-type shopping districts drawing attention as a key policy tool to enhance consumer satisfaction and strengthen the self-sufficiency of local small business owners, these new designations are also expected to greatly contribute to improving the competitiveness and revitalization of the local commercial area.
The newly designated commercial areas can further boost local consumption by registering as affiliated stores for Onnuri gift certificates, and they are also eligible to participate in various government and local government-sponsored public contests and support programs.
Through these measures, merchants can expect greater business stability and increased sales, while residents will be able to enjoy a more pleasant and convenient shopping environment.
Lee Taehun, Mayor of Dalseo District, Daegu, stated, "Alley-type commercial districts are the core of the local economy, closely connected to residents' daily lives," and added, "We will spare no administrative and financial support to ensure that small business owners can continue their businesses stably.
