Four Institutions: Goyang Urban Management Corporation, Goyang Research Institute, Goyang International Flower Expo, and Goyang Convention Bureau
Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Donghwan) announced that, starting from August 1, 2025, until September 30, 2025, it will conduct the "2025 Regular Comprehensive Fair Recruitment Survey for Public Institutions" targeting public institutions and related organizations under the city's jurisdiction.
This survey will review the appropriateness of the new recruitment processes conducted last year and evaluate the overall recruitment system at four institutions: Goyang Urban Management Corporation, Goyang Research Institute, Goyang International Flower Expo, and Goyang Convention Bureau.
Additionally, from August 11, 2025, to August 29, 2025, the city will carry out a "Public Survey with Citizens." During this period, the city will receive reports on recruitment irregularities and any breaches of fairness in the recruitment processes of the surveyed institutions.
Reports can be submitted to the Audit Office of Goyang Special City via phone, fax, or email, or through the city's official website (Electronic Civil Service → Civil Complaint Report Center → Public Official Misconduct).
However, reports submitted under a pseudonym or anonymously, civil matters that should be resolved between private parties, or civil and criminal cases currently in litigation cannot be accepted as civil complaints.
The city will verify the facts of the reports during the audit period and disclose the audit results on its official website.
A city official stated, "Through regular recruitment investigations of public institutions, we will ensure transparency and fairness in public sector recruitment processes and foster a sound recruitment culture."
