Seobuk Co., Ltd., which operates Photoism, a leading global self-photo brand, will run a P1Harmony pop-up store for FNC's group P1Harmony at "Photoism PLAY" in Shin-Okubo, Tokyo, Japan, from August 3 to September 1.
This pop-up store marks the official overseas launch of the "P1Harmony Pop-up Store," which received enthusiastic responses from fans at the Mangwon branch in Seoul last May. It aims to offer Japanese fans a new spatial experience that combines the artist's music with the brand. Photoism is directly overseeing the entire process, from planning the pop-up space to producing artist merchandise and managing operations. The project goes beyond a simple store, providing a brand experience connected through storytelling.
From July 31 to August 2, a pre-opening period was held, during which the photo booth and photo zone operated as usual while some spaces and events were being prepared, raising visitors' anticipation. Starting August 3, with the grand opening, all spaces and programs are now fully operational, and pop-up content that merges the worldviews of the brand and the artist is being unveiled locally for the first time.
The Shin-Okubo pop-up store consists of two floors. The exterior of the first floor serves as a visual space promoting the pop-up store and various exhibitions and events. Inside, there are VP and DP zones displaying a variety of visuals and products. Four photo boxes are installed so fans can freely enjoy taking pictures. The second floor is designed as a retail space, where visitors can directly purchase various MD products or listen to the artist's new songs. In addition, there are special content areas such as a message wall and a media wall, providing fans with an immersive experience.
In the first-floor VP zone, the "Hero Office" concept, which was well-received at the Mangwon pop-up, is recreated. The photo booth offers exclusive frames and "with frames" for collectible photo sessions. There is also a three-sided photo zone decorated with P1Harmony’s "Overload" graphics, and a powder room featuring props that received positive feedback at the Mangwon pop-up, giving fans an enjoyable photo experience. On the second floor, there is an MD product sales zone and a large media wall where P1Harmony’s "DUH" music video is screened. Fans can explore products while listening to music in the listening zone, and the P1ece zone allows fans' support messages to be completed as a single artwork.
A variety of events are also being held on-site. Every visitor receives a special ticket, and those who participate in a simple pop-up survey are given a P1Harmony sticker pack. Customers who purchase more than 4,000 yen in MD products receive a Snappism unreleased selfie photo card. Among these, 42 lucky winners who find a hidden four-leaf clover on the back of the photo card will receive a Photoism photo taken and autographed by P1Harmony themselves. Additionally, if visitors create a certified short-form video after visiting the pop-up space and upload it to SNS, they can enter a review event for a chance to win autographed MD merchandise by lottery.
At this pop-up store, in addition to Photoism exclusive MD, various official P1Harmony MD products and albums will be available. When purchasing an album, a Photoism-exclusive photo card will be given at random on a 1:1 basis. With over 25 types of official products prepared, including keyrings, photo card sets, mini CDs, and light sticks, high interest from fans is expected.
A representative from Seobuk Co., Ltd. stated, "It is very meaningful to be able to expand the pop-up store from Mangwon in Seoul to Shin-Okubo in Tokyo, Japan," and added, "Photoism PLAY will continue to communicate more closely with global fans and grow as a space that delivers diverse experiences and value based on photo culture."
This P1Harmony pop-up store is expected to attract not only K-POP fans in Japan but also a wide range of customers interested in IP content and photo culture. Photoism PLAY plans to further strengthen its presence in the Japanese market through this pop-up and will continue to introduce various projects for global fans in the future.
