Pianist Jae-Yeon Won will hold a solo recital to celebrate the release of the album 'Domenico & Alessandro Scarlatti' on October 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center.
The 'Domenico & Alessandro Scarlatti' album was released on June 27 under the UK label Onyx. It features a total of 26 works by Alessandro and Domenico Scarlatti, the renowned father and son composers. The recording took place at the acclaimed Teldex Studio in Germany, with renowned producer Martin Sauer, who has worked with numerous masters including the Berlin Philharmonic, contributing to the album's high quality.
The album is available for streaming on major platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, and Qobuz. CDs can also be purchased from leading Korean online bookstores such as Yes24 and Aladin.
Jae-Yeon Won has been active on the European stage after winning second prize and the Audience Award at the 61st Busoni International Competition. In 2020, she released her debut album 'Bach to Bartok' and is currently a Steinway Artist and the artistic director of Arco Ensemble in Europe.
This album was made possible through the voluntary participation of fans via a three-week crowdfunding campaign. Jae-Yeon Won expressed her gratitude, saying, "This album is not just a personal record, but a result created together with those who love music," and added, "I am grateful to be able to repay that support through my performance."
