Seniors Show Enthusiastic Response
to Singer Performances Despite the Heat Wave
The Yangsan Branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association (Branch President Seo Chun-gye) held the '2025 Senior Job Cultural Performance with the Elderly' at the Yangsan Culture and Arts Center Grand Hall on July 31, 2025.

On this day, approximately 500 people, including seniors participating in the senior job program and staff members, attended the event. Mayor Na Dong-yeon also participated in the event and spent time communicating with the seniors, despite being on personal vacation.
This performance was organized to express gratitude to the seniors participating in the senior job program who are contributing to the local community despite the hot weather, and to provide emotional stability and vitality through cultural activities. The event featured a variety of performances by a traditional Korean music singer, a fusion traditional music team, and popular singers such as Shin Nara, Shin Myeonggeun, and Park Hyunbin, receiving enthusiastic responses from the seniors.
Seo Chun-gye, President of the Yangsan Branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, said, "We prepared this performance to express our gratitude for the seniors' participation and contribution to society," and added, "I hope this event will be an opportunity for seniors to regain vitality in their lives through cultural activities."
Mayor Na Dong-yeon stated, "Due to the record-breaking heat wave that arrived earlier than usual this year, the health of seniors is at risk," and continued, "I ask that seniors participate in job programs safely and healthily despite the hot weather, and Yangsan City will continue to take the lead in senior welfare for a healthy and vibrant later life through various cultural activities."
