"The bicycle says, it cannot move forward unless it is pushed,
and that we should live on two wheels"
The phrase conveys the following meaning: "A bicycle moves only when its wheels are turned. If someone pulls from the front and pushes from behind, our lives will also move smoothly toward our goals. The front wheel heads for the destination, while the rear wheel maintains balance as it moves forward. Like a couple riding a bicycle together, a stable family is built when both move forward together. Our lives are just like this."
Throughout August, the city will introduce this phrase to citizens via a large electronic display installed on the city hall rooftop and through the municipal information display system (DID) located in 78 public places.
Going forward, the city plans to discover and widely promote Korean Language Empathy Phrases from the works of local writers every month, so that citizens can experience warm emotions in their daily lives.
