Paju City announced on the 31st that it had completed the 11th round of administrative enforcement on July 23 and 24, targeting four illegal buildings within a prostitution zone. As a result, 77 out of the 82 illegal buildings designated for administrative enforcement have now been cleared.

Paju City, following a previous operation in June, carried out the 11th administrative enforcement on July 23 and 24, just a month later. A total of 131 personnel, including staff from the city government, fire department, and police, along with equipment, were mobilized. The operation focused on four prostitution business buildings, partially demolishing illegally expanded waiting rooms and auxiliary facilities.
As a result, among the 82 buildings subject to administrative enforcement, a total of 77 have been cleared, including partial demolitions: 32 through direct administrative enforcement, 39 through voluntary correction by building owners, and 6 through city acquisition and demolition.
Additionally, Paju City has notified administrative action for violation of building use change to about 20 prostitution businesses that continue to operate illegally after having received residential use approval. For approximately 30 other businesses where administrative action has been suspended due to reasons such as unidentified ownership, the city is continuing efforts to identify owners through various means, including tax payment record checks and on-site investigations.
A Paju City official stated, "From now on, administrative enforcement will be conducted monthly, focusing on buildings with remaining illegalities after partial demolition and on the approximately 30 locations where enforcement has been suspended." The official added, "Through enforcement, we will pressure for business closure, completely block attempts to relocate operations, and impose repeated compulsory fines for illegal use changes. We are committed to eradicating illegal prostitution businesses and will steadily pursue the goal of closing the prostitution zone within this year through strong administrative measures."
