Busan Bumin Hospital (Director Choi Changhwa) visited the Mandeok Community Welfare Center on the 30th together with the Bumin Public Interest Foundation (Director Yoon Moondu) to provide Samgyetang meals and medical volunteer services for local senior citizens.
This event was organized to help elderly people struggling to maintain their health during the heatwave. The nursing department and the social welfare team participated directly, carefully preparing and serving about 100 bowls of Samgyetang. In addition, medical services such as blood pressure and blood sugar checks, as well as health consultations, were provided.
Among the approximately 180 participants, about 60 were national merit recipients and veterans. Gupo Bumin Hospital, which is designated as an excellent veterans medical hospital by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, also took part in the event.
Director Choi Changhwa stated, "We prepared this event to express our gratitude to veterans and to help local senior citizens stay healthy throughout the summer," and added, "We will continue to provide various medical and welfare support together with the Bumin Public Interest Foundation."
Busan Bumin Hospital plans to continue collaborating with local welfare organizations to steadily carry out medical volunteer work and sharing activities for vulnerable groups and veterans in the future.
