LG Electronics Honored as 'Most Awarded' for the Second Consecutive Year
Home appliances from Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics have been recognized for their user convenience through ergonomic design, earning the 'Ergonomic Design Award.' In particular, LG Electronics was named the company with the 'most awards' for the second consecutive year.

According to the electronics industry on July 30, Samsung Electronics' Bespoke artificial intelligence (AI) home appliances received the 2025 Ergonomic Design Award, organized by the Ergonomics Society of Korea. The Ergonomic Design Award is the most prestigious award in the field of ergonomic design, evaluating products from the consumer's perspective in terms of ▲usability ▲efficiency ▲safety ▲emotional quality.
The Bespoke AI dishwasher was named 'Best Product.' In addition, the Bespoke AI hybrid refrigerator and the Bespoke AI steam robot vacuum cleaner received the 'Special Award.' The Bespoke AI dishwasher features an 'Auto Open Door' that opens with a light touch, allowing users to conveniently open the door even when holding dishes in both hands or wearing rubber gloves. The 'Glide Rail,' which allows the heavy upper rack to slide out smoothly, has also been applied.
LG Electronics won a total of seven awards at this year's Ergonomics Design Awards, including the 'Best Product Award' and the 'Best Innovation Award,' continuing its streak as the 'Top Award Winner' for the second consecutive year. LG Electronics swept a total of seven awards. First, the LG robot vacuum cleaner won the 'Best Product' award, while the LG MyCup tumbler washer and the world's first wireless and transparent TV, the LG Signature OLED T, received the 'Best Innovation' award.
The LG MyCup was recognized for its excellence in ergonomic design by allowing users to easily wash and dry tumblers for hygienic use with simple operation. Its 360-degree rotating cleaning blades and 65°C high-pressure water enable simultaneous cleaning of both the inside and outside of the tumbler, as well as the lid. The LG Signature OLED T offers differentiated visual experiences unique to transparent screens, such as switching between 'black screen' and 'transparent screen' modes with just the remote control, delivering the overwhelming picture quality of OLED and augmented reality features.
Additionally, at this year's awards, LG Electronics swept the 'Special Award' with products such as the LG AI Magic Remote, the webOS AI user experience (UX) platform, the LG Smart Monitor Swing, and the LG Objet Collection refrigerator.
