Sales and Transaction Volume Up 20% Year-on-Year in the First Half
Record-High Performance for the First Half
AblyPay Payment Volume Increases 4.7 Times
Ably Corporation, which operates the fashion platform Ably, announced on the 30th that its sales and transaction volume for the first half of this year reached record highs.
According to Ably Corporation, sales and transaction volume in the first half of this year increased by approximately 20% compared to the same period last year, and the company recorded an operating profit. All major services?Ably, 4910 (Saguilgong), and Amood?showed upward trends across all performance indicators, achieving the highest sales and transaction volumes in the company’s history for the first half of the year.
The company analyzed that the growth of AblyPay and improved performance across all business divisions drove both profitability and overall growth. In the second quarter of this year, the total payment amount processed through AblyPay, the company’s proprietary simple payment service, increased approximately 4.7 times compared to the third quarter of last year (July to September), when the service was officially launched.
In terms of app usage metrics, both the Ably and 4910 platforms showed increases. According to WiseApp Retail, an app and retail analytics service, 4910, which was launched in the second half of 2023, recorded an average monthly active user (MAU) count of 1.21 million in the first half of this year, an approximately 7.5-fold increase compared to the same period last year. During the same period, Ably’s average MAU rose by 16% to 9.45 million, maintaining its position as the number one major fashion platform for five consecutive years since 2021.
Ably Corporation is also accelerating its global market expansion. The transaction volume of the Japanese shopping app Amood in the first half of this year increased by 50% compared to the same period last year. Buoyed by this growth, the company recently established a global fulfillment center in Seongsu.
