Korean Sport & Olympic Committee Recruiting Official Sponsors for 2025-2028

The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee announced on July 30 that it will be recruiting official sponsors to support the development of sports in Korea, in connection with Team Korea and its projects, for the period from 2025 to 2028.

This recruitment of official sponsors includes marketing collaboration rights for major international multi-sport events such as the 2026 Milano Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics, the 2026 Aichi Nagoya Asian Games, and the 2028 LA Summer Olympics, as well as key domestic events such as the National Sports Festival, the National Youth Sports Festival, and the National Sports for All Festival. Companies selected as official sponsors will be able to enhance their brand value and achieve promotional effects through various marketing activities with Team Korea, while also contributing to elevating the status of Korean sports.

Sponsors will be categorized according to the scale and category of their sponsorship as follows: official partners (first tier), official sponsors (second tier), and project-specific sponsors. Rights will be granted differentially according to each tier. Major rights include the use of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee and Team Korea brands, brand exposure at events and competitions, and the use of collective image rights of the national team, among various other marketing rights.

Key benefits include the right to use the collective image rights of the national team, the use of the official emblem of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, advertising and promotional rights within National Sports Festival venues, exposure of the company logo in media promotions, VIP event invitations, and opportunities for interaction with national athletes. Companies from various industries are expected to find opportunities for mutual growth through cooperation with the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee.

The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee carries out a wide range of projects, including nurturing and supporting national athletes, promoting grassroots sports, and enhancing public health through sports. In particular, the committee supports national athletes to achieve success on the world stage, thereby strengthening the international competitiveness of Korean sports and providing the public with pride and inspiration.

President Ryu Seungmin stated, "This recruitment of official sponsors is an important step toward a new leap forward for Korean sports," adding, "We hope many companies will participate to bring hope and inspiration to the people through sports and to contribute to enhancing the value of our national brand."

The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee plans to hold a preliminary briefing session for prospective sponsors on August 7. Detailed information regarding the application process and related matters can be found on the press release section of the committee's official website.
