Opening of Specialized Centers to Strengthen Medical Services
in Response to Rapid Population Aging

The event was attended by Chairman Park Jongho, Hospital Director Park Namcheol, Medical Director Park Kwangmin, Director Son Chanmo, as well as medical staff from both centers, the nursing department, and key hospital officials, who all celebrated the opening.
The establishment of these two centers at Centum General Hospital aims to strengthen the hospital’s capabilities in treating cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, as well as degenerative joint diseases, which are seeing a rapid increase in prevalence due to the accelerating trend of population aging. The centers also seek to provide safer and faster medical services to patients.
The Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Center is a specialized facility that provides precise and rapid diagnosis and treatment for serious conditions such as myocardial infarction, angina, stroke (including cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction), and cerebral aneurysm.
At this center, Cardiology Department Head Lim Jihoon, Neurosurgery Center Director Lee Seonil and Department Head Lee Donghyeok, Neurology Department Head Yoo Namtae, and Interventional Radiology Department Head Cho Junghyun are responsible for patient care and procedures. The center has established a system capable of responding to life-threatening emergencies 24 hours a day.
The Robotic Artificial Joint Surgery Center is bringing about a revolutionary change in the treatment of joint diseases in elderly patients through a precision artificial joint surgery system that incorporates advanced robotic technology.
Centered around the Orthopedic Surgery Department, this center provides systematic care and surgery through the collaboration of nine experienced medical professionals, including Chairman Park Jongho, Director Son Chanmo, Education Director Lim Munseop, Medical Director Lee Unseong, and Department Heads Kim Hojin, Park Junho, Park Jaehong, Noh Sangmyeong, and Lee Gyeongho.
Chairman Park Jongho and Director Park Namcheol stated, "The opening of these two centers is part of Centum General Hospital's proactive response to an aging society and our commitment to providing more specialized medical services to the local community and residents.
