On July 29, Siheung City announced that it would sell, through a competitive bidding process, the '1-10-1 Block' of urban support facility land in Baegot-dong 300-2, Baegot New Town, which measures 4,044 square meters.

This site is the last remaining support facility land within Baegot New Town. The land is classified as a quasi-residential area, allowing for a building coverage ratio of up to 70% and a floor area ratio of up to 500%. The appraised value of the site is 10,211,135,000 KRW.

The site is adjacent to the area where Chong Kun Dang plans to establish an advanced biopharmaceutical complex development zone. Permitted uses for the site include knowledge industry centers, exhibition halls within cultural and assembly facilities, hospitals within medical facilities, educational and research facilities, office facilities, and warehouse facilities.

The city plans to post the bidding announcement on the 'Notices and Announcements' section of its official website next month. Interested companies can participate in the bidding through the Onbid system, but must complete membership registration and register a digital certificate in advance to participate.

Kwon Bongjae, Director of the Siheung Free Economic Zone Division, stated, "The land for sale is the last remaining support facility site in the entire Baegot area," and added, "We hope that an appropriate buyer who meets the characteristics and intended use of the site will be selected so that effective development can be achieved."
