Gwangju Transportation Corporation (President Cho Ikmoon) announced on the 28th that it recently visited the area of Yonggok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, which was damaged by heavy rainfall, and carried out volunteer activities to assist with flood recovery efforts.
Approximately 20 employees from the corporation and the Gwangju branch of Nonghyup participated in this volunteer work. They helped remove equipment from tomato farms that were flooded by record-breaking torrential rain and carried out environmental clean-up activities, working hard to help the victims return to their daily lives as soon as possible.
President Cho Ikmoon said, "I hope our efforts will provide some help to those affected by the sudden heavy rain," and added, "We will continue to do our best to establish ourselves as a model public enterprise that grows together with the local community."
