The event is available to both new and existing customers who enroll in Samsung Securities' pension products. Depending on the amount deposited, participants can receive gift certificates. Various benefits are provided based on the net deposit amount. The net deposit amount is calculated by adding together the following during the event period: new deposits into pension savings accounts, transfers of pensions from other companies, and conversions from matured ISA pensions.
First, the "With Pension Savings Event" provides gift certificates according to the net deposit tier, starting from a minimum net deposit of 10 million won. For net deposits of 500 million won or more, a gift certificate worth 1 million won is given. When transferring a pension from an insurance company, the qualifying amount for the net deposit is recognized at twice its value for the purpose of the benefit.
Next, the "Boom-up Event" targets new customers or those with a total balance of less than 1 million won. If these customers make a net deposit of at least 1 million won but less than 10 million won into their pension savings account during the event period, they can receive a gift certificate worth 5,000 won.
It is important to note that when calculating the net deposit amount, retirement pay (including statutory severance pay, honorary retirement pay, retirement consolation pay, and special voluntary retirement pay, as well as other non-statutory retirement payments) is excluded from the deposit calculation.
So far this year, the total individual pension balance (based on market value) combining Samsung Securities' pension savings and DC/IRP accounts has surpassed 20.1 trillion won, showing rapid growth. This is a sharp increase of approximately 17.6%, rising from 17.1 trillion won at the end of 2024 to over 20.1 trillion won as of the end of June 2025.
A Samsung Securities representative stated, "We have prepared this event to support our customers in preparing for a stable retirement," and added, "We will continue to support customers in practicing long-term asset management."
