The event featured a variety of programs, including the declaration of a resolution to eradicate serious accidents in order to promote a culture of safety, awards for outstanding safety workers, a calligraphy ceremony and handprint event to wish for accident-free operations, and on-site safety inspections.

In his encouragement speech, CEO Jeon Jaesik stressed, "We must thoroughly prepare for seasonal risk factors such as heat waves and heavy rain," and added, "Safety must be the top priority at the beginning and end of every task, and all risk factors at the site should be eliminated in advance." He further emphasized, "The goal of achieving ZERO serious accidents for five consecutive years can only be realized through everyone's actions."

Previously, since last month, Hanshin Engineering & Construction has been strengthening special safety inspections at all sites to address major seasonal risk factors such as heat waves and collapses. In particular, the company is implementing an 'Extreme Heat Work Program' at sites to systematically enforce the five basic safety rules for heat waves, and is also advancing site management by simultaneously applying tailored safety and health measures for heavy rain.

A representative from Hanshin Engineering & Construction stated, "Preventive measures and on-site monitoring to prepare for heat waves and heavy rain will continue until September," and added, "As related regulations have recently become mandatory, we will thoroughly prevent serious accidents through proactive response and action."
