Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will operate a 'Weekend Family Experience Program' at the Hwaseong City Museum of History for two months in August and September.
This program consists of three types of craft and media experiences, which are linked to the museum's special exhibition, 'Hem of Clothes, Hem of Memories.'
'Smile Wide, Wear Cheollik, Snap a Photo!' is an activity where participants can understand the 'Cheollik' on display at the museum and design and complete their own version. This activity will be held on August 2 and 23, and September 6.
'Making a Summer Mosquito Repellent Moscube' is a program where participants use artifacts and patterns seen in the exhibition hall to create a soap mosquito repellent mobile. This activity will take place on August 9 and 30, and September 13 and 27.
'What Did Mom and Dad Wear? Creating a Family Short-form Album' is a program where participants compare past and present clothing cultures while viewing the exhibition and create a family album video. This activity will be held on August 31, and September 14 and 21.
Participation in the program is available through advance reservation on the Hwaseong City Integrated Reservation System. Each session is limited to the first 15 families who register.
