On July 24 at 11:00 a.m., Korea National University of Cultural Heritage, under the Cultural Heritage Administration, held a ceremony to award the 'Overseas Cultural Heritage Internship Scholarship' at the K-Heritage International Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, in collaboration with Smilegate RPG.
This scholarship was established to provide students majoring in cultural heritage-related fields with practical international field experience and to support their development into globally competent professionals. The selected students will be dispatched to the Center for Korean Studies at the University of Hawaii in the United States (1 student) and the Shizuoka Road Museum in Japan (2 students), where they will carry out relevant practical work at each institution.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from Smilegate RPG, the Cultural Heritage Administration, and Korea National University of Cultural Heritage, who shared the achievements of cooperation among corporations, public institutions, and universities, and discussed sustainable strategies for nurturing talent.
Korea National University of Cultural Heritage stated, "This scholarship program is a result of international cooperation based on specialized education in cultural heritage," and added, "We will further strengthen the foundation for students to grow in the global field by expanding public-private cooperation."
Smilegate RPG commented, "We are honored to provide young people with interest and expertise in cultural heritage with opportunities for international practical experience," and continued, "Through ongoing support and collaboration, we will continue to create social value together."
