On July 25, CJ Foodville announced that its restaurant chain VIPS will reopen the 'VIPS Hapjeong Station branch' after a renewal. The VIPS Hapjeong Station branch is located in 'Delight Square,' a large commercial complex connected to Seoul Subway Lines 2 and 6 at Hapjeong Station. This flagship location serves as a central hub in a mixed-use district, attracting a diverse customer base including students, office workers, and families.

Through this renewal, the seating capacity has been expanded to approximately 280 seats, and a new private room accommodating up to 40 people has been added. The interior has been updated with modern and sophisticated design elements, such as lounge seating with landscaping reminiscent of nature in the city, further clarifying the brand identity as a premium dining destination. In addition, various coffee options reflecting wellness trends, including decaffeinated beans and oat milk, have been introduced to enhance customer satisfaction.

VIPS is strengthening its competitiveness as a premium dining brand not only through store renewals, but also by relocating to key commercial districts and making strategic new openings. In particular, the branches opened in June at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok, Cheongju Connect Hyundai, and Lotte Department Store Ilsan have all quickly established themselves as flagship locations in their respective regions, delivering encouraging results.

In fact, the Lotte Department Store Gwangbok branch recorded the highest sales among all VIPS outlets nationwide on its opening day, emerging as a leading dining destination in Busan with ocean views. The Cheongju Connect Hyundai branch achieved the highest average daily sales as of July. The relocated Lotte Department Store Ilsan branch also achieved the top sales on its opening day and has received a strong customer response, including early weekend reservation sell-outs.
