Boryeong Mud Festival to Open on July 25... 17 Days Filled with Diverse Experiences and Performances

Mayor Kim Dongil Stresses Thorough Safety Management During On-Site Inspection
The Largest Summer Festival to Be Held at Daecheon Beach and Surrounding Areas

The city of Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province, announced on July 23 that it conducted an on-site inspection for the 28th Boryeong Mud Festival, which will be held at the Boryeong Mud Expo Plaza on July 25.

The inspection was attended by Boryeong Mayor Kim Dongil, along with 25 relevant public officials and stakeholders.

During the inspection, the participants thoroughly checked the overall preparation status for the 17-day festival, including safety inspections of experience facilities, in accordance with safety management plans for each area.

Based on the results of the inspection, the city is making final improvements to ensure that the festival opens without any issues.

This year's festival, which will be held for 17 days from July 25 to August 10 at Daecheon Beach and the Mud Expo Plaza, features a variety of experiential zones such as the General Mud Experience Zone, Family Zone, Water Park Zone, and Mud Beauty Healing Center, offering diverse experiences for visitors of all ages.

In particular, a range of performances will take place at the special stage in Mud Expo Plaza, including the World DJ Festival on July 26, the Midsummer Night's Concert on July 27, the K-Hip-Hop Festival on August 1-2, the 7th Mud Song Festival on August 3, Mnet M Countdown on August 7, 8090 Night on August 8, KBS K-POP Super Live on August 9, and TV Chosun Super Concert on August 10.

Mayor Kim Dongil stated, "We have meticulously prepared to ensure that the 28th Boryeong Mud Festival is held safely and successfully," adding, "I hope this will be a meaningful time for families, friends, couples, and even pets to create special memories together."

Meanwhile, the Boryeong Mud Festival, recognized as a representative summer festival nationwide, is expected to offer visitors unforgettable enjoyment through a wide range of programs in a safe environment.
