Open-Ear Innovation: Redefining Everyday Listening Experiences
A Sound Solution Offering Comfort, Safety, and Immersion
Non-Occlusive Design Delivers Rich Bass
Harman International, the audio and automotive electronics subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, announced on July 23 that it has unveiled the new open-ear earbuds from its flagship brand JBL, called "JBL Sense Light."
This product features JBL’s proprietary open sound technology. Its open-ear design allows users to remain aware of ambient sounds while delivering rich bass, providing immersive audio, comfortable fit for extended use, and outstanding convenience. It is also designed to blend naturally into daily life, enabling users to stay fully aware of their surroundings. This natural situational awareness allows for multitasking and enhanced safety in various scenarios, such as commuting, outdoor exercise, or working in complex environments.
While traditional in-ear earbuds or over-ear headphones are suitable for immersive listening, the JBL Sense Light offers a different type of listening experience. Open-ear earbuds like the JBL Sense Light provide an innovative middle ground, maintaining environmental awareness while delivering premium sound. In particular, the JBL Sense Light enhances audio depth and richness with its adaptive bass boost algorithm, delivering a dynamic and well-balanced listening experience.
Grace Koh, Head of Consumer Audio for Asia Pacific at Harman International, stated, "JBL has always strived to push the boundaries of audio innovation while meeting the real needs of users. We are very proud to introduce a product that embodies this vision with the launch of JBL Sense Light."
She added, "Sense Light, which combines JBL’s advanced open sound technology with an adaptive bass boost algorithm, offers a new listening experience that delivers immersive, high-quality sound without sacrificing environmental awareness. This is especially important in today’s fast-paced and dynamic urban environments, where being aware of one’s surroundings is both essential and a responsibility."
