Jinhae-gu, Changwon Special City, Joint Safety Inspection of Major Construction Sites Shows "All Clear" Joint Safety Inspection of Large Construction Sites.

This initiative was organized to prevent loss of life and property damage caused by natural disasters during the summer season in advance, and to emphasize the importance of safety management at construction sites.

On this day, officials from various agencies, including Jinhae-gu Office, the Public Security Intelligence Division (Jinhae Team) of the South Gyeongsang Provincial Police Agency, the Security Division of Jinhae Police Station, and the Safety and Prevention Division of Changwon Fire Headquarters, participated together to inspect the safety conditions at the sites from multiple perspectives.

The sites visited included four major construction sites in the district: the Dudong District Access Road Construction Project, the Naraeul School New Construction Project, the Daeya District Redevelopment Project site, and the Jaeun-dong Apartment Complex.

The participating organizations emphasized the importance of protective measures for workers during heatwaves, as well as the need for advance preventive actions against risks such as soil runoff and collapse during heavy rain. They also provided relevant safety guidelines to site personnel, raised awareness about disaster preparedness, and shared practical response strategies.

Jung Hyunseop, head of Jinhae-gu Office, stated, "The risk of disasters is increasing day by day due to abnormal weather patterns, localized heavy rainfall, and record-breaking heatwaves," adding, "We will continue to cooperate with relevant organizations to prepare for various disaster situations and establish a proactive, on-site response system."
