Suncheon City in South Jeolla Province announced on July 22 that the Kumho Namdo Travel Tobakdan (led by Kim Jaekwang) visited Suncheon on the 19th and donated 1 million won to help neighbors in need.
The Kumho Namdo Travel Tobakdan is a walking club operated by the Gwangju Kumho High School Alumni Association (led by Kim Sungeun). Their visit to Suncheon was the seventh journey, following their first walk in Jangseong in January. The group actively practices walking and sharing by touring all 22 cities and counties in South Jeolla Province each month. This Suncheon event took place from July 19 to 20, with about 30 members and their families participating.
A city official stated, "We are grateful that you visited Suncheon to rest and recharge," and added, "The donated funds will be delivered to neighbors in need in accordance with your meaningful intentions."
