World Share, an international relief and development NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) chaired by Choi Soonja, announced on July 22 that actress Yoo Sun has been appointed as a goodwill ambassador for the "By Children's Side" program.

World Share underwent a rebranding in 2025 under the slogan "By Children's Side." This slogan reflects the organization's commitment to being present in the daily lives of children in need and sharing opportunities so that they can dream of their own futures. At the appointment ceremony held on July 21, actress Yoo Sun was named the first goodwill ambassador. She is expected to communicate the organization's philosophy of sharing and actively participate in activities supporting children living in poverty.

Since being appointed as a promotional ambassador for World Share in 2016, Yoo Sun has consistently shown care and support for children in need through various charitable activities with the organization, including coal briquette volunteer work and charity bazaars to help children with illnesses.

Goodwill ambassador Yoo Sun expressed her thoughts, saying, "Although my contribution may be small, I will listen to the stories of children in need and do my best, together with World Share, to offer opportunities in life to children who have nowhere else to turn."
