The new employees will complete about two weeks of residential onboarding training before being assigned to the headquarters in Daejeon, as well as regional offices and centers nationwide, where they will begin their practical work. The onboarding program focuses on helping new employees understand the agency's mission, vision, and organizational culture, as well as developing practical skills centered on fieldwork. In particular, the training includes education on artificial intelligence (AI), covering cases of AI utilization in public administration, data-driven policy support strategies, and AI ethics and security. This is designed to help the new employees grow into talents who meet the demands of the digital transformation era.
Park Sunghyo, Chairman of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, stated, "New employees are valuable talents who will contribute to restoring livelihoods and revitalizing local economies. Based on the agency's core values and sense of mission, they will be at the forefront of providing practical policy support for small businesses." He added, "We will continue to foster and recruit professionals with expertise and a strong sense of responsibility."
