Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency operated the '2025 Oceania Market Development Team' in Melbourne, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand from July 13 to July 19, achieving export consultation results worth 3.87 million dollars across 91 cases.
Six small and medium-sized enterprises from northern Gyeonggi Province participated in this market development team, including two companies from Namyangju, two from Paju, and two from Pocheon.

The participating companies held one-on-one customized export consultations with local buyers in Auckland, New Zealand on July 15 and in Melbourne, Australia on July 17.
To enhance the export competitiveness of the participating companies, the agency provided support such as 50% of airfare, assignment of professional interpreters, local transportation, and sample shipping costs.
Kang Jihoon, Executive Director of the Economic Division at the agency, stated, "It is a meaningful achievement that small and medium-sized enterprises from northern Gyeonggi Province have confirmed their potential in the Oceania market," and added, "We will strengthen follow-up support to ensure that these consultation results lead to actual export contracts."
