Kim Gyuri, the ambassador for the 2025 Jeonnam International Ink Biennale, threw the ceremonial first pitch at the KIA Tigers vs. NC Dinos game held at Gwangju Kia Champions Field on July 20, effectively promoting the event to a large audience.

The ceremonial pitch was a special event designed to widely promote the 2025 Jeonnam International Ink Biennale, which aims to reinterpret the spirit of traditional ink painting in a modern context. As the ambassador, Kim Gyuri delivered the pitch to enthusiastic cheers from the crowd, drawing significant attention to the Ink Biennale and marking a meaningful moment for the event.

During the game, a promotional video for the Biennale was also displayed on the stadium's large electronic screen alongside the ceremonial pitch.

Additional events were held between innings, generating enthusiastic responses from the audience. A promotional booth was set up outside the stadium, where leaflets were distributed and on-site guidance was provided to introduce the main features of the Biennale and attract interest.

Kim Gyuri stated, "I hope the team continues to play great games this season by gathering the energy of the tiger," and added, "I also ask for your interest and support for the 2025 Jeonnam International Ink Biennale, which will be held from August 30 to October 31."

The 2025 Jeonnam International Ink Biennale will take place from August 30 to October 31 across various locations in Jeonnam, including Mokpo, Jindo, and Haenam.
