Recruiting 150 Participants on a First-Come, First-Served Basis Starting from the 21st

Gwanak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Junhee) will pilot the introduction of "Koi," a 24-hour artificial intelligence parenting counselor, to help relieve parental stress and support children's psychological health.

Gwanak-gu Pilots 24-Hour AI Parenting Counselor "Koi" Provided by Gwanak-gu.

"Koi" is a service in which artificial intelligence (AI) provides real-time, 24-hour counseling to parents on various parenting concerns, such as recurring conflicts during child-rearing, children's problematic behaviors, and parental guidance methods.

This project was introduced for the first time this year as part of the "2025 Gwanak-gu Child Drawing Psychological Test Support Project." The district expects that the AI counselor will be able to empathize with parents' emotions and provide advice through simple conversations, making it easier for parents to resolve their parenting concerns.

The program is open to children aged 3 to 12 (born between 2013 and 2022) living in Gwanak-gu and their guardians. The first round of recruitment has ended, and the second round will accept 150 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis from July 21 to August 3. Applications can be submitted via QR code, and eligible participants can access the counseling service free of charge.

Even after the application period ends, the "Child Psychological Drawing Test" service?excluding Koi?can still be applied for at any time using the same QR code. The Child Psychological Drawing Test is a program that uses AI to analyze drawings created by children, monitor for signs of child abuse, and provide feedback from experts.

Since 2023, the district has been operating this service free of charge to investigate the actual conditions of child abuse and identify children at risk. The service has been well received by parents, as it helps them better understand their children's emotions. For more information, contact the Gwanak-gu Office Child and Youth Division (879-6199) or TNFAI (1522-6130).

Park Junhee, Mayor of Gwanak-gu, said, "I hope that parents exhausted from childcare will be able to rely on the AI counselor at any time, and that this will help create a healthier and happier family environment."
