Since August of last year, Lotte Duty Free has been running a customer participation donation campaign to commemorate the domestic launch of Dassai Mirai, donating a certain amount from each sale. Last year, the company donated $6 per bottle, but starting this year, the donation amount was increased to $30 per bottle.

Dassai Mirai is a sake made by polishing rice that does not meet standard grading to less than 8%, resulting in a luxurious flavor. It was developed with consideration for farmers who face difficulties because their rice does not meet the official grading standards. The 10 million won raised through this event will be used to support rice farmers through contributions to the Rural Cooperation Fund.

Dassai became available exclusively at Lotte Duty Free last year. It is one of the top five most popular liquor brands in the Lotte Duty Free liquor category based on customer purchases. Products such as Dassai 23, Dassai Mirai, and Dassai Beyond are popular among a wide range of age groups.

Meanwhile, on July 18, Lotte Duty Free held a "Brand Cooperation Social Contribution Donation Ceremony" at the Star Lounge of Lotte Duty Free Myeongdong Main Store. The ceremony was attended by Dongha Kim, CEO of Lotte Duty Free; Kazuhiro Sakurai, President of Dassai; Heejun Kim, CEO of Samkyung Retail; and Taesub Byun, Secretary General of the Foundation for Cooperation between Large, Small and Medium Enterprises and Agriculture and Fisheries.

Dongha Kim, CEO of Lotte Duty Free, stated, "It is very meaningful to hold a donation event in which Lotte Duty Free, Dassai, and our customers participate together," adding, "Lotte Duty Free will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and strive to spread positive influence."
