Eight First-Prize Winners at a Single Store in Busan
If All Tickets Belong to One Person, Total Prize Reaches 12.7 Billion Won
At a store in Busan, there were as many as eight first-prize winners of the Lotto through manual selection. If all eight tickets belong to the same person, the total prize would amount to 12.7 billion won.
On July 20, for the 1,181st Donghaeng Lottery Lotto drawing, the winning numbers for first prize were '8, 10, 14, 20, 33, 41.' The second prize bonus number was '28.'
There were 17 first-prize winners who matched all six numbers. Each winner will receive 1,593,640,000 won. Of the first-prize winners, 10 selected their numbers manually, while 7 used the automatic selection.
What stands out is that at a single store in Gijang-gun, Busan, there were eight first-prize winners through manual selection.
When there are multiple manual winners at one location, it is possible that a single person purchased several tickets. If that is the case, the total prize would reach 12.7 billion won. After taxes, the actual amount received would exceed 8 billion won.
There were 86 second-prize winners who matched five numbers plus the bonus number, each receiving 52.5 million won. There were 3,109 third-prize winners who matched five numbers, each receiving 1.45 million won. There were 155,938 fourth-prize winners who matched four numbers, each receiving 50,000 won. There were 2,596,371 fifth-prize winners who matched three numbers, each receiving 5,000 won.
The deadline for claiming the prize is within one year from the payment start date. If the last day for prize payment falls on a holiday, the prize can be claimed on the next business day.
Previously, two weeks ago in the 1,179th Lotto drawing, out of a total of 13 first-prize winners, two tickets were manually selected at a store in Seo-gu, Incheon, drawing attention. In addition, last month in the 1,176th drawing, out of a total of 13 first-prize winners, four tickets were purchased at a store in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province. These were also manual selections.
