BNK Kyongnam Bank Urgently Dispatches 'BNK Volunteer Group' to Uiryeong-gun for Flood Recovery Support Activities

On July 20, BNK Kyongnam Bank urgently dispatched the 'BNK Volunteer Group' to Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam, which suffered significant damage due to heavy rainfall, to carry out flood damage recovery support activities.

About 20 employees from the bank's headquarters departments and Uiryeong-area branches participated in the volunteer activities held in Daeeui-myeon, Uiryeong-gun on this day. They worked hard on recovery efforts, including organizing household goods in flooded homes and removing mud and debris.


Choi Daesik, Head of Social Contribution and Public Relations, said, "First, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the residents who are suffering from the sudden flood damage. BNK Kyongnam Bank will also join forces to provide whatever support we can to help residents in need."


Starting with this recovery support in the Uiryeong area, BNK Kyongnam Bank plans to expand its recovery assistance, including additional volunteer group dispatches and the delivery of relief supplies, to other regions affected by heavy rain such as Sancheong and Hapcheon as soon as the scale of the damage is identified.
