Record-breaking heavy rain in Sancheong, Gyeongnam has caused power outages and flooding, resulting in communication disruptions.
According to Korea Electric Power Corporation, Sancheong County, and the Fire Headquarters, as of July 19, heavy rain has caused power outages in parts of Sancheong, including Danseong-myeon, Sindeung-myeon, Sinan-myeon, and Geumseo-myeon.
It has also been reported that phone and internet connections are unstable due to relay station failures caused by flooding.
Korea Electric Power Corporation is currently working on restoration efforts.
