Highlighting High School Students' Creativity Through an Online Exhibition of Award-Winning Works
The Department of Art and Design at Samyook University announced on the 18th that it held the "2025 Samyook University National High School Art and Design Practical Competition Awards Ceremony" and unveiled the winning works.

Samyook University holds this competition annually to assess students' practical skills ahead of the university's early and regular admission practical exams, and to encourage the dreams of aspiring artists.
This year's competition was held over two days, on June 18 and 19, at the university's main gymnasium, with 1,200 high school students and exam candidates from across the country participating.
The participants competed in three categories: Basic Design, Idea and Expression, and Basic Literacy. The panel of judges focused on evaluating the contestants' ability to interpret the theme, composition skills, and expressive abilities.
As a result of the judging, at the awards ceremony held on the 14th in the university museum's special exhibition hall, the Grand Prize (President's Award) in the Basic Design category was awarded to Lee Soeun (Isan High School graduate).
The Gold Prize in the Basic Design category went to Kim Dayeon (Yukmingwan High School), Song Euijong (Dongpae High School), and Lee Junhyuk (Anyang High School). The Silver Prize was awarded to Kang Gayoon (Eunpyeong High School), Park Seojun (Pungmu High School), Park Solmi (Hwasu High School), Choi Hyeongcheol (Gwangju Daedong High School), and Hong Jua (Incheon Ara High School) in the Basic Design category, and to Nam Minsu (Gwonsun High School graduate) in the Idea and Expression category.
The Bronze Prize was awarded to Kim Yunha (Hwajeong High School), Kim Jaeyoon (Baeksan High School), Kim Heesu (Yale Design High School graduate), Park Sua (Incheon Airport High School), So Iwon (Baeksong High School graduate), and Lee Hayoung (Gwangju Dongshin Girls' High School) in the Basic Design category; to Park Soyul (Donghwa High School) in the Basic Literacy category; and to Kim Dongbin (Salesio High School) and Lim Seohyeon (Homeshil High School) in the Idea and Expression category.
The recipients of the Grand Prize, Gold Prize, and Silver Prize will be granted eligibility to apply for the special talent admission track for the 2026 academic year at Samyook University. Winners of the Special Prize or higher will receive a certificate of award, which can be used when applying to other universities.
Additionally, the works that received the main prize (Bronze Prize) or higher will be exhibited in the university museum's special exhibition hall until the 18th, and a certificate verifying the exhibition experience will be issued.
