This program, which runs for one week until July 23, is designed for students from the International Culture Exchange Course at Tsushima High School. It includes Korean language classes, Korean cultural experiences, and exchanges with Korean students.
This year, 13 students from Tsushima High School are participating in the program, and 5 students from National Pukyong University are joining as K-Buddies to provide support activities.
National Pukyong University signed an educational exchange and cooperation agreement with the Nagasaki Prefectural Board of Education and has been operating the short-term Korean language training program since last year.
Seo Jaecheol, Director of the Office of International Affairs, stated, "I hope that the students from Nagasaki Prefectural Tsushima High School will develop a sustained interest in Korea through not only Korean language classes but also various Korean cultural experiences and exchanges with Korean students, ultimately leading to studying in Korea. We will continue to provide support to further expand these exchanges in the future."
