Singer and producer MC Mong has announced that he will be leaving 1Hundred and studying abroad.

On July 17, MC Mong stated on his social media, "I have been suffering from severe depression, underwent surgery, and my health has deteriorated to the point where making music has become difficult." He continued, "I have decided to leave all producer responsibilities at 1Hundred and Big Planet Made Entertainment to Chairman Cha Gawon, and I have chosen to study abroad for the sake of my health and personal growth."

He added, "I will definitely release an album this year, hold a concert?which may be my last for a while?and then leave to study abroad."

He said, "I have lived someone else's life, written songs for others, and found satisfaction in that, but I am sorry that I realized too late that my music means everything to my fans. Although I am starting at a late age, I want to focus on studying music and languages. I consider this my last ambition."

In 2023, MC Mong co-founded 1Hundred with Cha Gawon, chairman of the Piac Group, and has produced for Badvillain, a rookie girl group under the label Big Planet Made Entertainment. However, he was recently excluded from his duties, and the agency explained this was due to "personal reasons."

Regarding MC Mong's decision to study abroad, 1Hundred stated, "There were no prior discussions about studying abroad, and matters concerning his health are private."
