Global lifecare specialist company Newon announced on the 18th that it will launch a one-month package of its children's height growth health supplement, "Key&Joy." Sales will begin through home shopping channels and the company's official online mall.
Key&Joy is a health functional food whose main ingredient is "lactic acid bacteria-fermented oyster extract (FGO)," recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its effectiveness in supporting children's height growth. FGO is a functional ingredient made by fermenting oysters with lactic acid bacteria, and its effectiveness in improving growth-related indicators has been confirmed through human clinical trials.
In addition to FGO, Key&Joy contains zinc, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, and selenium, offering a comprehensive functional nutritional formulation for growing children. The product recorded approximately 500 million KRW in sales during its first home shopping broadcast.
The company explained that it has newly introduced the one-month package and reorganized its home shopping broadcasts. Since the summer vacation period is a time when demand for growth management is concentrated, various promotions will also be conducted.
A Newon representative stated, "Consumers with children in their growth period are responding positively to the product's functionality and composition," and added, "We plan to strengthen our differentiated position within the category with a premium lineup of height growth products based on functional ingredients."
