Chunsoo Song, CEO of NH NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance, Conducts Emergency Inspection of Dangjin Heavy Rain Damage Site

Chunsoo Song, CEO of NH NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance, announced on the 18th that he visited Dangjin, Chungnam, which suffered significant damage from heavy rain on the 17th, to inspect the damage status, offer words of comfort to farmers, and promise a prompt investigation of the incidents.


In the Dangjin area of Chungnam, nearly 400mm of torrential rain fell over two days starting from the 16th, resulting in the flooding of houses, farmland, and livestock facilities. NH NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance immediately activated an emergency response system and began promptly receiving damage reports and initiating compensation procedures.

CEO Song personally inspected severely affected farmland, livestock facilities, and horticultural sites, and checked the scene together with loss adjusters. After listening to the opinions of farmers he met on site and offering his support, he promised swift loss assessment and assistance.


CEO Song said, "I feel a heavy sense of responsibility when I think about the farmers who suffered major losses overnight due to the unexpected heavy rain," and added, "We will do our utmost to thoroughly assess the damage and ensure that compensation is provided as quickly as possible."


NH NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance plans to support affected farms by implementing various measures, including prioritizing the deployment of investigation personnel to accident sites, conducting rapid damage assessments, and providing advance insurance payments of up to 50% of the estimated loss amount, in order to facilitate swift recovery from the damage.
