Ten Korean franchise companies participated in the event and held one-on-one business consultations with 20 major local buyers. Additional programs, such as local market tours and strategy seminars, were also organized.
The Philippines is a market with a young population, averaging 25 years old, and a market size of more than 110 million people. In particular, the high favorability toward Korean culture makes it a promising market for the expansion of Korean food service franchises.
KOTRA Vice President Kim Myunghee stated, "This roadshow is a practical opportunity for Korean franchise companies to establish themselves in the Philippine market," adding, "We will continue to actively support the overseas expansion of Korean franchises through customized support based on the Korean Wave and consumer trends."
