Introducing New Menu Items Under the Crisper Platform

Burger King announced on July 17 that it is introducing two new menu items under its Crisper platform.

The new Crisper menu features two items: "Crisper Chipotle," which includes a spicy chipotle sauce, and "Crisper Garlic Chicken," which features a rich garlic flavor. Burger King reinterpreted the Korean taste keywords of "spicy" and "garlic" to create its own unique chicken burgers.

"Crisper Chipotle" combines a whole chicken breast patty with a spicy chipotle sauce, delivering a deep, lingering heat that is not overwhelming at first bite. The spicy flavor is expressed differently from the existing Diablo sauce, allowing customers to enjoy the distinctive kick of jalapeno in a new way through a chicken burger. The price is 5,700 KRW for the burger alone and 7,700 KRW for the set.

"Crisper Garlic Chicken" features the same chicken breast patty topped with a rich garlic sauce and whole garlic cloves. The unique aroma and subtle sweetness of garlic blend harmoniously with the chicken breast, offering a multi-dimensional flavor. This menu item presents garlic chicken in Crisper's own style. The price is 6,700 KRW for the burger alone and 8,700 KRW for the set.

With the launch of these new products, Burger King aims to further expand the distinct appeal of the Crisper platform. In April, Burger King introduced the Crisper platform along with two items, "Crisper Classic & BLT," which have steadily gained popularity and established themselves as a new chicken category for the brand.

In celebration of the Boknal season, Burger King is running a promotion until July 30, offering a free regular-sized cola with the purchase of any Crisper burger. The promotion covers all four Crisper menu items, including the two existing and two new burgers, and is available exclusively for in-store orders, including King Order.

A Burger King representative stated, "'Crisper Chipotle' and 'Crisper Garlic Chicken' are menu items that reinterpret the spicy flavors favored by Koreans in Burger King's own style, allowing customers to experience a new taste. We will continue to introduce a variety of chicken menus through Crisper to target the preferences of domestic consumers and further strengthen Burger King's unique competitive edge."
