Seobitmaru Senior Center Hosts "Chobok Special Meal Event"
Samgyetang Served to 550 Local Seniors for Health During Summer Heat

On the morning of July 16, Seobitmaru Senior Center in Seo-gu, Gwangju held a "Chobok Special Meal Event" at its senior restaurant, providing a special Samgyetang meal to 550 local senior citizens. The event was organized to promote health during the peak summer heat, targeting 80 seniors at risk of skipping meals and 470 paid meal members. Volunteers assisted with serving food, clearing tables, and cleaning up, creating a lively atmosphere. The special meal consisted of herbal Samgyetang, watermelon punch, fresh lettuce salad, and napa cabbage kimchi. The sponsoring organizations, "Eoreusin-eul Butakhae Home Care Center" and "Global Silk Road Care," also provided emergency care kits and wet wipes.
